Sunset And Night Lights, Harbourfront Toronto December 5, 2015

My intent on this trip was to see the LED light installations at various places along the harbour that I had read about. Fortunately I had gotten there early enough to do one of the simpler experiences in life, watching a sunset. DSC_0566DSC_0574DSC_0570No matter by land, sea or air, the harbour is always a thriving, busy fascinating place.DSC_0598 I found myself a place to sit and relax and to enjoy the big orange ball of fire disappear behind the Billy Bishop Airport. I was joined by some seagulls and an amazing Long-Tailed Duck that would dive under water for the longest time.DSC_0565DSC_0600DSC_0618DSC_0597 Things take on a different shine in this light, a different glow. As darkness came the harbour took on a different sparkle.DSC_0627DSC_0635DSC_0634 These installations of thousands of little LED lights adorn four different locations along Queen’s Quay. DSC_0646Lots of people enjoying the skating, complete with a DJ, at the Natrel Pond.DSC_0649This beautiful ship on the fly bridge.DSC_0652 The firefighters have gotten into the spirit with this old firetruck display. DSC_0669DSC_0674The Music Garden has this wonderful display of notes and symbols. All in all a great trip, in amazing December weather, well worth the ride on the Red Rocket.DSC_0662DSC_0638 Come see it for yourself and as always, enjoy Toronto!~
