I have always loved coming to Cabbagetown. This weekend featured the 39th. annual Cabbagetown Street Festival. I must confess, for me it was my 1st. I wasn’t sure what to expect because of the weather, but the street was packed! The festival represents the neighborhood well. From the old to the new, from the fancy to the simple, all set in this wonderful old historic part of Toronto. What impressed me the most was the music. It seemed a different band was playing every half a block or so. The quality and diversity of the music certainly made this a worthwhile trip. From Classic Rock, to Hip-hop, Jazz, Brazilian drums, if you cant find something here to uplift your soul on a damp and cloudy day, you probably just don’t like music. The rain held off long enough and I left smiling! As always, enjoy Toronto!~
