Artfest at the Distillery, Distillery District, Toronto, September 6. 2015

Sunday afternoon I ventured into this little wonderful tucked away part of the city called “the Distillery District”.DSC_0454 DSC_0430
These wonderful historic cobblestone laneways were hosting the 9th annual Artfest! This is a worthwhile trip any time of year but the Artfest seems to draw a lot of people! DSC_0461 DSC_0457 DSC_0440This is becoming one of Toronto’s favourite summer art festivals and celebrates painting, photography, sculpture and music from some of the finest artists in Canada. These wonderful laneways serve as an incredible backdrop to a truly world class event.DSC_0439 DSC_0445DSC_0431 DSC_0447 The food and drink are also worth the visit alone and a tour of the Mill Street Brewery feels a bit like a trip to a museum. As well as the functional brewery, they have also kept all of the original machines on display.DSC_0442 DSC_0467 DSC_0464 DSC_0474 I hope you enjoy these few pics as much as I enjoyed taking them.DSC_0479DSC_0477 DSC_0450 DSC_0452
As always, enjoy Toronto!~
