Hot & Spicy Food Festival, Harbourfront Centre,Toronto September 05, 2015

For those that like it hot and hotter this is a great annual celebration of spice!DSC_0239 DSC_0243 Food and sauces that make your brow sweat are the order of the day at the 18th annual Hot & Spicy Festival taking place at Harbourfront Centre this Labour Day weekend.DSC_0209 DSC_0229 A very family friendly event that is sure to entice and challenge your taste buds. The setting was incredible too as the airshow flew overhead and the rumble of 46,000 happy Jays fans across the street provided the back drop. This is the new and revitalized Harbourfront and it sure does seem to draw people in great numbers.DSC_0216 DSC_0218 DSC_0235DSC_0226 Some of the afternoons entertainment was provided by Los Poetas, one of Toronto’s newest and freshest Hip-Hop crews, who spit Spanglish lyrics to a boom-bap backdrop with a touch of revolutionary spirit. DSC_0294 DSC_0224An enjoyable afternoon for sure, the festival is free and the food vendors were also reasonably priced. The sauces were incredible as was this competition for  chefs and caterers to come up with the ultimate party mix they make themselves, and serve it on a stick. Everything from hot nuts to maple bacon to cheese on a stick!DSC_0296 DSC_0298Well worth the trip to the harbour, as always enjoy Toronto!~
