Sunday June 28,2015. Luminato hub, David Pecaut Square

In the heart of Toronto, in the shadows of Roy Thompson Hall sits this wonderful little green space that has served as the hub for this year’s Luminato Festival.

DSC_0276The installation titled Glossary is by acclaimed Brazilian artist Regina Silviera. In this commissioned piece she uses translucent marquees that create a pathway through the park.

Using light, shadows and and the word light in countless languages this green space has been transformed into a colourful fun urban playground.

At night lasers play with the colours and the word light is playfully bounced onto many of the downtown buildings.
