Street Art

While it’s easy to walk by and ignore it’s impossible to not see it. Toronto is covered in art .When I was first introduced to it (many years ago) it was felt to be an egregious crime ranking up there with things like treason. These young criminals were running roughshod over the rules and society.

Some of these walls are epic pieces and maybe in the future deserve the same historic consideration and care as the buildings they are on.DSC_0327DSC_0843DSC_0338DSC_0014some pieces speak of epic struggles and the sense of community , some speak of crumbling relations .

DSC_0839 Next time you have the chance to walk through Toronto take the time to look up(and down) and appreciate the art of it all. To the artists whose work is shown here thanks for making my city a brighter more colourful place, keep it up!
